Thankful For Horses
Horses are everything to be thankful for. We appreciate horses in a multitude of ways, but in short here are the main 3 reasons.
Horses help are extremely beneficial to one’s health and well-being. Tending to horses alone will have you racking up steps and lifting weight with buckets, hay bales, and saddles. There isn’t much lightweight equine paraphernalia. In tandem with the health of your body, a horse companion can improve one’s emotional and mental state. They are our friends and partners.
If you have ever had the pleasure of interacting with a horse you know that they can be very vocal creatures. There is pure joy in hearing the nickering joy and happy clomps when entering a barn. The delightful cheers and whinnies that escape from a stall when you rustle the grain bucket or fill a pail. When a horse expresses itself it is hard not to smile in response.
As horse lovers and surrounded by those who are also horse lovers in a wonderful community there are always everlasting friendships being built. We are a “birds of a feather” group. Friendships that were made in the barn, on the trail, and at many shows stand the test of time.
