The Olympics have been occurring since 1896 with the art and athleticism of riding being added in 1900. The 1924 Olympics was the first event where equestrian competitions were held under the authority of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). The FEI is celebrating its 100yrs in 2021 as the world governing body for Jumping, Dressage, and Para-Dressage, Eventing, Driving and Para Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining.
